ladder
the fundamental funnel of cyberia — how a stranger becomes a citizen across time and depth.
five rungs. each is a permission model: which Skills a neuron can call, how long they stay, what they may hold.
| tier | duration | what opens |
|---|---|---|
| TOUCH | hours | day entry — picnic, short trail, same-day leave |
| VISIT | days / weeks | overnight stay, events, temporary credentials |
| STAY | months / years | work, longer housing, community services |
| SETTLE | years / decade | property-like rights, permanent residence signals, deep stake |
| BELONG | forever | passport-class membership, voting, candidacy — portable |
physics
- TOUCH, VISIT, and STAY almost every country can host.
- SETTLE and BELONG are not offered by all countries by definition — land law, citizenship, and dual-status rules decide what a site may sell.
- so BELONG is mostly a network product: Cyberia membership that travels with you, with local rights attached per city when the jurisdiction allows.
- one of Cyberia’s missions: you can belong to any place on earth — not trapped by a single passport or a single plot.
- conversion is the strategy: each rung measured on its own job (discovery, margin, or depth), never one vanity metric.
- volume and sacredness do not share the same hectare at the same hour — zoning is how the ladder stays beautiful.
site vs network
| one city (e.g. cyber valley) | cyberia network | |
|---|---|---|
| usually sells | TOUCH · VISIT · STAY · (SETTLE if law allows) | BELONG + local rights per city |
| instrument | day tickets · overnight · month plans · local tenure | portable membership |
| ceiling | whatever that jurisdiction can grant | belong anywhere the network goes |
