steward
how sigma — what the state holds in every form of capital — is counted, and how budgets open or close lanes. from org: sigma = financial + physical + digital + relational; the entity survives while sigma stays above its threshold.
trigger: a period ends; a lane asks for budget; a holding changes hands; a vendor quota or a bill arrives.
the graph
| # | node | kind | role | makes | green when |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | count | code node | counter | sigma by form, from sources that can be re-read: ledgers, chains, registries, invoices | every line has a source and a date |
| 2 | budget | worker | seer proposes, counter checks | a budget per process and per body for the period: tokens, minutes, money | the sum fits sigma's flow; every lane has a cap |
| 3 | open | gate | counter, the owner above the threshold | lanes opened or closed for the period | a sensor on each cap fires before the cap, not after |
| 4 | report | code node | counter | the portfolio page and the state board's sigma | the page re-derives from the sources |
return edges
- short: a line without a source returns to count.
- long: a cap that was crossed becomes a tighter sensor; a lane that never used its budget gives it back.
lanes
counting is contained. opening a budget is wide. spending above the threshold the owner set, moving a holding, or signing on the state's behalf is irreversible and passes the owner.
